Job Description

Eaton (Colorado) Public Library – Director.  The Board of Trustees for the Eaton (Colorado) Public Library is recruiting for its next director.  This is an excellent opportunity for an MLS graduate or individual with equivalent education and experience and a passion for rural librarianship to introduce new way of serving a community with a high circulation per capita and that appreciates the role of the library in the community.  The director manages all aspects of the organization including staff, facilities, budget, programs and services.  With a major addition completed less than a year ago the director will review and propose new operating policies, work with the board to adopt and implement a new set of goals to broaden programs and services, and increase resources for the public.  The director will be an active participant in community initiatives and work with the High Plains Library District to improve products and services.
