Job Description
The University of Colorado Denver’s Auraria Library seeks a Library Science graduate student to work with government documents and the reference collection.
Examples of work performed
- Transfer material from the non-circulating collections to circulating collections.
- Withdraw material from collections.
- Assist student worker with shelving and/or processing of new materials when necessary.
- Update catalog records for missing and/or improperly cataloged items.
- Assess use of government publications and reference material to assist with weeding.
- Develop or update online research guides related to government information or reference topics.
- May assist with reference triage and any special projects for the library in general as needed​.
Compensation: $12.50/hr education and experience.
Work Schedule: Approximately nine hours per week. Schedule to be negotiated within normal business hours.
Start Date: As soon as practical.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicants must currently be enrolled in or accepted to a Master of Library Science program or equivalent.
