What You'd Do
Provide direct, high quality registration and circulation services to Central Library customers in the Borrower Services Unit while supporting system-wide circulation procedure, including development and delivery of circulation training, Collections and strays management. Participate in opening and closing duties, including cash reporting. Act as a contact for Unique Collection Agency.

Although the full salary range for this position is provided, starting salary is typically made at or near the range minimum. The City and County of Denver benefit package will be offered.
The schedule will be determined by the needs of the department and will include evening and weekend hours.

You Have
Knowledge of office practices and procedures. Skill in operating a computer, including MS Word, MS Excel and Google products. Skill in interpreting, communicating and presenting information. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Ability to work with attention to detail and to make simple mathematical computations. Ability to work with computer databases, including report creation and analysis. Ability to thrive working in an environment with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and a sense of humor in working with customers and coworkers. Ability to creatively solve problems, multi-task and prioritize. Ability to push full carts of materials and lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to use basic workplace technology including email, internet and automated software. Ability to pass a background check after the offer to hire has been made.
A high school diploma or equivalency.
Two years of circulation experience.
Experience working with integrated library system software (preferred, not required).
Spanish language skills (preferred, not required).
