Job Description

We're hiring a vibrant, innovative and dynamic Collection Development Librarian to select adult materials across all formats! Your understanding of patron demands and knowledge of fiction and non-fiction from regional bestsellers to the New York Times and from mid-level titles to debut and indie authors, will ensure we provide patrons with what they want. Your passion for collecting the perfect titles for adult patrons that reflect the interest and needs of our residents, will result in an exemplary, popular and well-circulating collection for the residents of Jefferson County. You will use your collaboration skills to work with the Collections team and other Library staff to support weeding practices and ensure that the best materials are being chosen for our patrons. If you're an innovator who knows what patrons love and need in fiction and non-fiction, this may be the job for you!
