Minimum Qualifications
Training - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Science, Media Studies, Environmental Design, Engineering, Fine Arts, Art Education, Computer Science, Communication or other closely related field.
Experience- Three years experience teaching hands-on making activities in a formal or informal education setting. Previous experience with two or more of the following technologies: laser cutting and engraving, 3D printing and scanning, fiber arts, digital design software, small board electronic prototyping (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, micro.bit, or basic circuitry), vector-based design software (Inkscape preferred), and related Makerspace technology. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.

Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the Necessary Applicant Traits.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Must be at least 21 years of age. New hires must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: oral board, reference checks, background checks including local police check and sex-offender registry.
