Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director for Access & Organization, the Morning Library Assistant provides assistance for users at the Access Services/Circulation desk and supports the overall daily activities of the Access & Organization Department. Duties include assisting in the management of circulation operations, general technology support (in collaboration with the Department of Technology Services), and supervision of student employees (in collaboration with the Associate Director of Access & Organization and other Access Services librarians).

The position is part of the Access Services team and will participate in department projects and activities, especially in the areas of course reserves, serials, and stacks maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience supervising others

Excellent customer service skills

Experience in a library setting

Comfort in using technology and assisting others with technology
