Job Description

The Eaton Public Library is seeking a fulltime Teen Services Librarian.  This exempt position calls for a Masters Degree in Library Science, or similar advanced degree, and public library experience. Duties include but are not limited to extensive interaction with teens in groups and one on one, the selection, ordering and weeding of teen materials, planning and implementing teen library programs, working with all ages of public using advanced computer searching skills, and at the circulation desk with its associated duties. Work schedule includes some evenings and Saturdays.  Must have outstanding customer service skills, the ability to work independently and in close collaboration with other staff and the community, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, good attention to details, and be passionate about the importance of a public library to the community. The Community

Located in Eaton, Colorado, the Eaton Public Library has grown from a small brick library constructed in 1911 to a 12,000 square foot, newly remodeled and updated modern library.
