Douglas County Libraries has a P/T (15 hrs/wk) Reference Librarian Sub position available. The employee will report to the Philip S. Miller (Castle Rock) location, but will work at any Douglas County Libraries location as needed. Special training will be provided for each location. The position will provide general reference service assistance to patrons of all ages. The employee will report to the Philip S. Miller (Castle Rock) location, but will work at any Douglas County Libraries location as needed. A strong customer service ethic is a must, as well as a flexible and adaptable nature. The position requires knowledge of collection development and the latest library and technology trends. Public library reference desk experience is required. Some evenings and weekend hours are required. Must be able to maintain positive, team-player staff relations. Douglas County has been nationally recognized as a great place to live, work and raise a family. ACBJ used 20 statistical indicators to rate living conditions in all 3,141 counties and independent cities across the nation.
