The Highlands Ranch Library needs a F/T (35 hrs/wk) Patron Service Technician. The position will perform a variety of patron contact duties including actively assisting patrons with finding library materials and with using the catalog, assisting patrons with circulation procedures, and maintaining displays. Our main focus is to provide superior customer service, so top candidates must possess strong experience and skills in this area. While in training, salary will be $11.55/hr. Once training is successfully completed, the salary will increase to $12.35 per hour. Full benefits are available. Days, evenings and weekend hours are required. Previous library shelving and circulation experience and/or bookstore customer service experience is required. Experience with maintaining merchandise displays, and experience doing storytimes, is preferred. Position requires at least above average computer skills and experience.
