Job Description
Gunnison County Library District is seeking a Youth Services Supervising Coordinator Librarian. This District wide, full-time position is responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising creative, innovative, and relevant services to children, young adults, and the people who support and encourage them. In addition to events and activities, the position is also responsible for youth collection development and direct public service to library users of all ages.
The position will exercise supervision over all other Library District employees providing youth services. This is an exciting time to join Gunnison County Library District. A new flagship library facility, directly adjacent to K–12 schools, is under construction in and will open in the fall of 2022. The new library will include a feature rich children’s library and a space dedicated to young adult audiences.
Gunnison County Library District’s strategic plan places a priority on services to both children and young adults. The successful candidate will find themselves well positioned to develop new opportunities and expand services with the full support of their community.

Wage Range $56,368 to $79,248 (Non-MLIS) & $61,568 to $89,398.40 (MLIS)
MLIS degree is strongly preferred
