Job Description

The Science & Instructional Technology Librarian facilitates the use of information resources and technology in teaching, learning, and scholarship for faculty and students. We encourage applicants with a educational or practical experience in the sciences who is excited to learn more about learning technologies to apply! There is room in this role to explore your interests as they connect to librarianship and to become involved with community- and profession-wide initiatives.

This liaison collaborates with faculty to support students’ research activities through classroom instruction, consultations, and workshops. Reporting to the Director of Research and Instruction, this position leads initiatives to strategically and collaboratively identify and integrate technology solutions with the support of the instructional technologist and other liaisons, develops programmatic objectives, training, and documentation, and advocates for effective use of technology as it contributes to student success. The Library is committed to several projects focused on representation and equity in collections and teaching.
