Part Time Library Director
Langworthy Public Library, Hope Valley, RI
The Langworthy Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking a self-directed, highly organized, energetic, patron-centered and forward-thinking individual to serve as our Director of library services. The Director works with a team of experienced and dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver and promote high quality library services to the community of Hope Valley, a village within the rural town of Hopkinton, RI. The Langworthy Public Library is a private, non-profit organization located in a beautiful historic building overlooking a pond and is governed by an extremely supportive and hard-working Board of Trustees. This is a flexible 25 hour per week position at the rate of $25.00 an hour.
Qualifications:
· MLS/MLIS in library and information science
· Three to five years of professional library experience
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
