Job Description

Siouxland Libraries is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and skilled librarian with a focus on Learning and Development to organize and manage the library’s training and onboarding practices. This person leads the efforts of seeking training opportunities for staff at all levels, implanting training and onboarding best practices and continuously improving Siouxland Libraries’ training practices. The Librarian works collaboratively with library staff and staff across the City of Sioux Falls in support of the library’s mission, culture, goals, and initiatives. The position supervises Library Associates and Library Support Staff, works public service, and provides exceptional customer service.
