Job Description
Working with RILINK staff, RILINK Executive Director is responsible for overall services to the member libraries as well as budgeting and billing. The Executive Director's responsibilities also include planning and development, publicity, and grant writing.
Benefits & Additional Compensation Info
Part-time position on consultant basis; no benefits. $50 per hour, up to 30 hours per month, negotiable, plus mileage.
Additional Info & Requirements
Required: MLS degree and at least five years experience as a school library media specialist; must be available during the school day and be able to travel to member schools statewide, as well as contact member library staff via email, telephone, and online meeting software.
Preferred: Experience with RILINK; experience with Follett Destiny Library Manager software and computer systems and browsers; experience using SpringShare LibGuides web development software for libraries and the OverDrive SORA interface for schools; plus administrative experience. Public relations experience using social media and grant writing are also desirable.

RILINK is a consortium of 200+ school libraries formed for the purpose of resource sharing and shared library automation.
