Close enough to a bigger city but far enough away to let the small town life relax and calm you. There are approximately 30 acres of parks and open space that includes ball fields, trails and fishing access. Not to mention the endless amount of public lands at your fingertips.

Get a hike in on the award-winning McPhee Overlook Trail with great views of McPhee Reservoir. Dust off your mountain bike for an amazing ride through the Boggy Draw Trail System's single track. Take a stroll along the River Trail. Get your fishing gear out and head to the lake or a nearby fishing hole. Get a bite to eat at one of our dining establishments. Get your groceries locally, your Farmers Market fix on Wednesdays, find some activities for kids at our library. Get your camping gear and OHV ready for a weekend getaway. Be the host that shows your friends and family around this area.

Dolores Public Schools has a great K thru 12 school system, active athletics and high performing students. They have an active booster club, and help out with many events and activities throughout the year.
