Job Description
Westerly Library and Wilcox Park seeks a creative, energetic, ambitious, and dedicated full-time Children’s Librarian to plan, direct, and implement all of the Library’s kids’ services. The Children’s Librarian will also conduct outreach to build a strong understanding of the breadth and scope of kids’ offerings. Working with other departments, this position will help create new and exciting kids programs and partnerships as well as develop community-wide collaborations and outreach efforts while promoting community awareness of youth services. The Children’s Librarian is also responsible for preparing, monitoring, and administering the Kids Room budget as well as all collection development, programs, and services as they relate to kids, parents, and teachers of the community.

Schedule will include some evenings and alternate Saturdays.
