Project Manager – Bibliographic Services

Responsibility:
Backstage Library Works in Provo, Utah is looking for a Project Manager in Bibliographic services. Candidate will be responsible for the overall management of projects as they come through bibliographic services. Candidate will also be responsible for client communication as well as management of several teams of Data Technicians. Responsibilities of the product manager including but are not limited to the following:
• Manage all aspects of your projects (primarily but not exclusively cataloging and reclassification projects) Responsible for the following:
• Scheduling
• Client interface
• Productivity
• Delivery
• Supervise Production of DT Teams working on projects
• Supervise APM
• Evaluate/track DT and team performance
• Assist Sales Department with pricing services
• Work with Machine Services, Authority Control team and Programming Departments to facilitate completion of contracts that involve other departments.
Qualifications:
• Exceptional problem solving skills.
• Exceptional Project Management skills
• External and internal communication skills
o Balance time and resources for projects
o Plan and set project milestones
o Meet project milestones
o Exceptional people management skills
• Supervising staff
o Meet production requirements
o Client Contact for project
• Technical understanding of the cataloging process. A MLS is preferred.
Pay: Minimum $38,500
This is an exempt, fully benefited position including eight paid holidays per year and profit sharing.
