Executive Director, Warrenville Public Library District (West Suburban Chicago)
The Board of Trustees of the Warrenville Public Library District in Warrenville, Illinois seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Executive Director. The library is known for its friendly staff, supportive board of trustees, and the high level of service it provides to its community. This opportunity is open due to the upcoming retirement for the current Executive Director.
Warrenville is located about 31 miles west of Chicago in a region renowned for advanced technology companies, national laboratories, and universities and colleges. The local economy is strong and diverse. Residents enjoy all the amenities of suburban life plus easy access to the Chicago metro region.
The library serves about 14,100 people who live in or near the City of Warrenville. The beautiful 28,500 square foot building was remodeled in 2017.
Salary $85,000 - $110,000/year, negotiable based on experience.
