Job Description

  • Participate in the reference, liaison, and education functions of the library that includes orientations and training sessions, in-person and virtual reference assistance, and liaison support for the School of Nursing.
  • Develop informational materials such as tutorials and instructional videos addressing information literacy and evidence-based concepts.
  • Communicate library services and resources to onsite and distance students, faculty, and staff.
  • Maintain and enhance LibGuides content pertaining to areas of responsibility.
  • Provide assistance with the Libraries’ systematic review service.
  • Provide ongoing direction and supervision of the Interlibrary Loan department.
  • Coordinate Friends’ of the Library and contract services.

Additional Info & Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Master of Library Science or its equivalent from an ALA-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in libraries with demonstrated increased levels of responsibility.
  • Experience providing library instruction in a college or university setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and trends in copyright.
