Job Description
Coordinates assigned tasks related to the daily operation of the library's youth services department. Coordinates development and presentation of literature-based programs for assigned age groups ranging from birth through high school, aiming to develop literacy. Provides knowledgeable readers’ advisory and reference services. Coordinates, trains, and directs staff. Assists patrons in finding materials for recreational and educational needs. Collects and maintains physical and digital collections.

EXPERIENCE
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a library setting.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Library Science, Early Childhood Education, Literature, or a related field.
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
