About the job:
- Starting pay $19.00 per hour
- 40 hours per week, can be flexible within open hours of the library
- Earn three weeks of Personal Time Off per year for sick time and vacation
- Earn 8 hours of holiday pay for seven holidays per year
- Employee health insurance including medical, vision, and dental coverage is paid by the library ($7,272 per year benefit)
- Library matches 2% retirement contribution after one year, 3% after two years, 4% after three years, and 5% for four years and longer
The Technology & Marketing Assistant assists the IT & Marketing Manager in all areas of responsibility within the library. This position is primarily responsible for training staff and the public on the use of library technology. This position also assists with creating library marketing and promotional materials including library newsletters, social media posts, and advertising in local media outlets. This position assists with contacting library vendors and contractors to ensure that technology is functioning and well-maintained. This position serves as Room Concierge for the library by managing meeting room reservations for the public. This position staffs the public service desk as needed.

Additional Info & Requirements
• A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered on the basis of one year of experience for each year of education.
