Executive Director, Wood Dale Public Library District (West Suburban Chicago)
The Wood Dale Public Library District seeks an involved and enthusiastic Executive Director. This position is open due to the retirement of the previous Director.
Wood Dale, located less than 25 miles from Chicago’s Loop, is home to about 14,000 residents who enjoy good schools, a strong economic base, abundant cultural and recreational opportunities, and convenient access to major highways, commuter rail, and Chicago’s two international airports.
The library just completed a beautiful renovation and expansion project. The staff and board are excited to explore ideas for the enhanced programming and resources that was made possible by the new space.
The Executive Director position is well-suited to someone with the passion and talent to continue leading this library forward as it embraces its vital role in the life of this friendly and supportive community.
Salary $95,000 to $120,000/year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The library participates in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
