Reports to: Assistant Director for Library Development
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in design or related discipline preferred.
Position information: The Oshkosh Public Library seeks a graphic designer to assist in creating visual materials in print and digital formats that will resonate with a broad and diverse population. This position will create designs for print materials, enewsletters and digital content for our website, social media and email marketing. Other duties include basic photography, videography and reporting on social media analytics.
The library is looking for a creative individual who can support and amplify the library’s brand, strategic marketing efforts and community impact. The graphic design position works in partnership with the library’s Marketing Coordinator, who sets strategy and provides direction for graphics support. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be adept at managing multiple project deadlines; and follow basic design principles and graphic standards.
This is a 40-hour-per-week position. Work will be done primarily in the office, with some flexibility to work remotely as needed.
