Executive Director, Lake Forest Library (North Suburban Chicago)
The Lake Forest Library seeks a forward-thinking and energetic leader to serve as Executive Director. This position is open due to the retirement of the previous Executive Director.
Lake Forest, a northern suburb of Chicago, is known for its scenic Lake Michigan shoreline, vibrant downtown, excellent schools, and plentiful suburban amenities. Residents also enjoy easy access to all the cultural, historic, and entertainment opportunities in Chicago.
The library provides a welcoming environment in an Art Deco style building that features a domed rotunda, wood-paneled interior, and an unparalleled collection of art. Lake Forest Library serves approximately 19,400 residents with an annual budget of about $4.5 million and is a significant source of pride for the community.
