Job Description
Pines & Plains Libraries is seeking a 20-hour Activity Services Guide (ASG). This position will join two other Activity Services Guides and will support the team mainly through graphic design and marketing. This position works to support the Elizabeth, Kiowa and Elbert branches along with another ASG. You will design appealing promotional materials, engage the community through social media, assist in updating the website, as well as assist with program planning, running a weekly storytime and growing friendly relationships all around Elbert County.
Really, no two days are alike. Some days, you read stories to children of all ages. You might lead a craft project as part of a Storytime. Other days, you may direct older children in a STEM activity. You love to plan programs for library patrons of all ages. Gardening? Photography? Hummingbirds? Movie nights? Whatever the community likes and needs, you’re up to the challenge. You also get to represent the Library District at special events, like Christmas tree lighting, harvest festivals and rodeos.

- Strong graphic design skills and social media experience.
- Experience planning, presenting and evaluation programs of all types;
- Ability to form cordial relationships with employees, patrons and stakeholders;
