Executive Director, Batavia Public Library District (Chicago West Suburban)
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity located in Northern Illinois! The Batavia Public Library District is looking for its next great Executive Director. The library, with an operating budget of about $4.7 million, provides services to nearly 26,600 people. This opportunity is open due to the June 1, 2023 retirement of the current Executive Director.
Located along the scenic Fox River about 45 miles west of Chicago, Batavia is a charming community that enjoys a rich history, bustling downtown, lively art scene, and convenient access to major highways and commuter rail.
The library is housed in a beautiful building located in the heart of the downtown district. The Executive Director opening is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to lead the library as it continues to embrace its vital role in the life of this friendly and spirited community.
Salary $89,000 to $148,000/year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits including IMRF.
