Job Description

The Boulder Labs Library, serving Department of Commerce research for NOAA, NIST and NTIA, is recruiting a GS-11 professional Reference/ILL Librarian.  

As a Librarian, you will perform the following duties: 

Serves as a specialist in reference and information research and technologies to work with researchers in advanced fields of science such as physics, chemistry, telecommunications and atmospheric sciences, using a wide variety of information resources, including databases and other knowledge networks. 

Oversees the interlibrary loan and circulation functions including check-out, renewal, and placing holds. 

Coordinates space, equipment, training and instructional material, collections of data, reference and research services, access service, interlibrary loans and innovative services to the research community. 

Acts as library Liaison to scientific research labs; performs bibliometric analysis for labs and divisions.
