Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of the Library, the Test Center Coordinator & Library Assistant oversees all day-to-day operations of the Test Center and performs a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties as needed to expedite managerial, operational, and administrative functions of the Test Center.


The Test Center Coordinator & Library Assistant administers placement testing, dual enrollment testing, academic departmental exams and assessments, and high-stakes certification and revenue-generating exams and works in collaboration with CWC faculty, staff, and external partners to meet the needs of a variety of constituents by providing testing services and college readiness resources that comply with CWC policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and the requirements of contracted testing services.

In addition, the Test Center Coordinator & Library Assistant is responsible for backend processing of the Library’s Interlibrary loan system, processing library purchases, and reconciling all Library and Test Center credit card purchases and budgets for the library and test center. They perform other essential Library tasks and operate as a collaborative member of the library team.

Additional Info & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

● Education: Associate’s degree in business, education, or related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.

● Experience: Four years of directly related experience, preferably in a community college setting.

● Licenses/Certifications: must be or become a certified proctor for all test vendors as required.

● Equivalency Statement: Equivalent combinations of education and experience from which comparable knowledge
and abilities can be acquired may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
