The Park County Library System is seeking a full time Branch Manager for the Powell Library.
This position is perfect for someone with the drive, creativity, and passion to be a key part of the community, lead the growth of the library, and help manage an expansion project to build a new facility.
The Branch Manager works closely with the other managers and the Library Director to deliver quality service. The Branch Manager supervises a staff of eight employees plus volunteers, manages all programs, oversees collection development, works closely with the Powell Friends of the Library, and represents the library in the community.

The position is 40 hours a week with some weekends and evenings required. The pay scale is based on Park County’s grade and step scale with a salary range of $46,820-$ 65,499 DOE.
Additional Info & Requirements
An MLIS/MLS degree is required, plus 2 years library experience.
The Powell Library is located in the beautiful northwest corner of Wyoming, 75 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Powell is a close-knit farming community and home to Northwest College with a population of over 6,000.
This is an exciting opportunity to run a well-established and loved library, with great staff dedicated to library service. The library is centrally located next to the middle school and is establishing itself as the community hub, with a strong focus on programming and outreach.
