Job Description

Westerly Library and Wilcox Park seeks an innovative, public service oriented individual to coordinate and implement public technology services for all ages. The full-time Technology and Innovation Coordinator will be responsible for managing the public computer lab and Makerspace, as well as developing related programs and instruction.  


The ideal candidate will have the ability to: answer directional and informational questions about the Library, including its services, materials, programs, and initiatives; assist library patrons in using the Library's maker resources and equipment, for example: 3D printer, laser cutter/engraver, Audio/Video conversion equipment, as well as low-tech tools, plan and conduct maker programming, maintain liaison activities with relevant organizations, keep current with trends and issues in innovations and the maker community; assist in promoting maker resources and services; and serve as a technology and maker resource for staff
