Job Description
80% Provides reference service to the Library clientele primarily at the reference desk and electronically, inclusive of in-depth instruction on networked full-text journal databases. 10% Develops and presents program and/or curriculum supported information resource instruction to students, faculty, and staff; instruction can occur, but is not limited to classrooms, web-based tutorials, and distance learning environments; provides instruction on effective use of print and electronic resources; creates and disseminates print and electronic teaching aids. Communicates information related to library programs and services to faculty, staff, and students; develops and presents library staff development programs. 5% Assumes responsibility for assigned collection development of library materials in all formats; databases, print and electronic journals, print and electronic books as well as DVD's, CD's and MP3 files. 5% Coordinates and performs special projects, assignments and other duties as assigned, inclusive of fostering a positive working relationship with college information technology personnel and resource vendors; conducts needs assessments.HR Info
Masters - Librarianship, MLIS, MLS or MIS Experience or internship working in academic, public or special library
