We invite you to join the high performing team at the Town of Prescott Valley, serving as our Library Manager in the Community Services Department. In this position you will: Provide leadership and supervision to Outreach, Adult, Teen, and Children’s staff in one or more aspects of library operations.
· Lead in the development and implementation of new and/or enhanced services.
· Oversee library programs, assist with the administration of Library services, functions, and perform administrative, professional, and technical library work at middle management level.
· Embrace risk taking, innovation, collaboration, and change.
· Serve as an integral part of the Community Services leadership team.
· Represent the Library at community events, meetings, and other functions.
· Implement the strategic planning and priorities of Outreach, Adult, Teens, and Children’s Services Division and oversees planning and priorities.
· Actively participates in community engagement activities.
· Inspire continued learning, collaboration, skill development, and advocate for the library.

The Community
Prescott Valley sits at 5,100 feet, occupying a spectacular valley between the Bradshaw and Mingus Mountains. We serve 50,000 residents locally and over 242,000 residents throughout Yavapai County as part of the Yavapai Library Network. Of those residents, 153,000 are active library users. We are all about removing barriers for our community, including not charging fines for overdue materials. We offer innovative programming, such as a seed library, Library of Things, Memory Kits, Culture Passes, and checkout hotspots, Chrome books and many other digital tools. We have a staff of 27 and as a team, collaborate with local organizations, schools, businesses, and stakeholders to develop programs and initiatives that promote literacy, education and lifelong learning.
