Job Description

Under direct supervision of the Library Director, manages supervisors, facilities, and operations for five branch libraries, including: the Grand Canyon, Tuba City, Forest Lakes, Coconino County Correctional Facility and the Bookmobile.  Also supervises the Collection Management (Technical Services) supervisor and assists in directing the activities of the entire library section. Serves in the absence of the Director and travels to outreach libraries as necessary.

The population within the Coconino County Library district boundaries is approximately 150,000. The major industry in the area is tourism. Major cities include Flagstaff, Page, and Tuba City. Located at 7,000 feet elevation, Flagstaff is the county seat and the regional center of northern Arizona. Flagstaff is a community rich with cultural diversity and beauty.
