Join us at the library as the Division Manager for Community Engagement, where you'll guide diverse programs and services focused on expanding the library’s reach beyond the walls of our eight library locations.   • Directs Cumberland County Public Library community engagement activities, initiatives and opportunities, including digital navigation, outreach opportunities, and home delivery services. 
  • Works closely with Library Leadership Team, the Public Information Office staff, and others to ensure awareness of library programs and services within the community.
  • Provides innovative leadership in developing standards and plans for dynamic outreach services, resources and community marketing/awareness.
  • Cultivates and maintains strategic relationships and partnerships within the community so that the library can better serve customers where they are. Evaluates the effectiveness of partnerships and seeks innovative ways to reach the community. 
  • Oversees NC Cardinal resource sharing activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of resource delivery and management.  
  • Works with all staff to ensure consistent and effective community engagement activities responsive to community needs.
  • Initiates and participates in grant seeking, writing and implementation for the expansion of services and programs.

Selected applicant must have access to transportation and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record at the time of hire.
