• The Head of Circulation supervises 5 salaried staff and is the secondary supervisor for 20 hourly staff. • We are looking for an individual who will hire, coach, schedule, train and evaluate staff; successfully implement self-directed teams; and exhibit excellent customer service while working the circulation desk. • The work involves planning and coordinating work of the circulation department and presenting the library positively to all patrons. • In addition, this individual will work in concert with other library Heads of Circulation and with the other Evergreen Library supervisors. • The successful candidate will be a leader who is able to develop and promote a teamwork environment that inspires employees to be creative in managing the workflow. Demonstrated ability to supervise and communicate effectively a plus. Must be flexible to work some evenings, weekends, and minor holidays. Evergreen Library is located near the heart of this mountain community. Our library is a beautiful, welcoming facility in the Jefferson County library system.
