Job Description
Under general supervision, primarily responsibilities include, ensuring open communications with outside vendors for materials, resulting in a smooth experience for students ordering their materials. This includes tracking enrollment trends, initiating ongoing dialogue with the bookstore and vendors, and monitoring accuracy of website weekly.
Technical/ Task Statements
The following duties apply to bookstore responsibilities for the general student population and, separately, for the military population through the Military Book program.
Monitor revisions, enrollments for course affected, and implementation, to ensure high quality, availability of materials.
Order books from publishers or bookstores as necessary for library, faculty and designers. Monitor the inventory and replace as necessary.
Create and maintain booklists(via Course Director- MBS)- Information for master catalog – add course schedule- approve books
Ensure faculty has all necessary materials for instructing the courses for each term. Track faculty assignments and revisions to courses.
Work with Instructional Designers on reading packets, as well as outside vendors to ensure availability for the term affected.
Produce monthly status reports for the university administrators and bookstore.
Provide MBS with enrollment and back order updates twice before term starts.
Work with the ASCs, ACs and Program Chairs to resolve any student issues.
Work directly with students and bookstore to resolve issues.
Acquire and replenish inventory of desk copies to supplement purchase of textbooks for faculty and instructional designers.
Track and report acquisition of desk copies and value; development of custom books and cost; course materials for faculty and Instructional Designers and cost.
Additional duties as required.

Regular and consistent attendance required.Experience in use of technology/computers, online databases;
Understanding of web and database technologies.
