Join Our Team: Assessment Research Analyst Librarian, Colorado State University  

The Colorado State University Libraries welcomes applications for the Library Assessment Research Analyst position. We invite you to join a dynamic, future-oriented library team that is interested in using data to make better decisions and share our story with the campus. The individual in this position will coordinate and conduct assessment activities across library units and participate in initiatives that measure and communicate the libraries’ effectiveness, impact, and value to internal and external constituents.   

The Library Assessment Research Analyst will be skilled at conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and can translate findings into clear language that creates compelling narratives. This individual will work with employees throughout the library to identify data needs, use data to analyze systems and services in support of the libraries’ mission and goals, and build a culture of assessment within the organization.

Required Job Qualifications:    

A bachelor’s degree by the time of hire.  
Quantitative and qualitative skills, including demonstrated experience with assessment tools and strategies.  
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools for accurate data representation.  
Demonstrated ability to use data sources and insights to tell compelling stories.  
Proven ability to develop data-rich reports that are easily understood by various stakeholders.
