Library Technician, Spring Valley, Glenwood Springs - This position is an 11 month position that is under the general supervision of the Library Director, the Library Technician provides clerical/technical services and support for an assigned Campus Library. Primary responsibilities include handling reference questions, interlibrary loan requests, cataloging and conducting library instruction sessions. This position assists users; compiles data; prepares reports; and assists in operations, procedures, and processes. Strong computer proficiency required. Some evening and occasional weekend hours required. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and 1 year related work experience; or, Associate’s Degree or two-year college certificate, vocational school or technical program beyond high school, business college or similar training efforts and 2 years related work experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years related work experience.
