As our Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our training programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to assess training needs, coordinate logistics, and facilitate training sessions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about empowering library professionals to deliver exceptional services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with library directors and staff members to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training plans aligned with the cooperative’s goals.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, booking venues, and arranging equipment and materials, ensuring smooth execution of training events.
- Communicate training schedules and expectations to participants and track attendance and feedback to measure training effectiveness.
- Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually, employing interactive methods to ensure active engagement and effective knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate training outcomes through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in library services and training methodologies, incorporating innovative approaches into training programs.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm at our office in Orange Park.
Start Date: January 6, 2025.
