
The City Librarian & Executive Director leads and guides an executive leadership team who share operational responsibility for the library system. The City Librarian & Executive Director’s primary focus areas are:
- Strategic vision.
- Resource allocation.
- Advocacy.
- Fundraising.
- Relationship building.
- Coaching and mentoring Executive Leadership Team members.

Qualified candidates will have Master’s in Library Science, or its equivalent, from an American Library Association accredited college or university OR a Master’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration and have a minimum of eight (8) years of leadership experience, which must have included 5 years of executive level management responsibilities.
