Job Description
The Elbert County Library District is seeking a dynamic individual to join its Management Team to supervise the Simla Library, located 30 miles east of Elbert. The Branch Manager is responsible for all library functions related to the general operation and management of a single or multiple branches of the Elbert County Library District. The Branch Manager works with the staff and community to build collections and services that are responsive to the needs of the community it serves. The work involves carrying out library policy as determined by the Elbert County Library Board of Trustees, under the supervision of the Library Director.The Community
Elbert County is located 15 miles directly east of Castle Rock. With a population of 23,000 spread out over 1800 square miles, the four small communities of Elizabeth, Kiowa, Simla, and Elbert offer a slower pace than nearby Denver and Colorado Springs, while still being close to both cities.
