
Volunteer Coordinator – Library, Arts, History & CSU Extension (LAHE)

We’re looking for a relationship-builder with a passion for people and service to lead LAHE’s volunteer efforts. As the Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll recruit, support, and celebrate volunteers across the Library, Arts, History, and CSU Extension programs. You’ll work closely with staff to create meaningful roles, plan engaging outreach, and ensure volunteers feel welcomed and valued.
This role is about more than logistics—it’s about collaboration, care, and joy. You’ll represent LAHE in city-wide volunteer initiatives, gather impact stories, and help build a culture of belonging through service.
What You’ll Do
Maintain accurate data, share impact stories, and contribute to budgeting
Collaborate with the city’s Volunteer Coordinator Specialist
Coordinate outreach and recognition efforts, including appreciation events
Create role-specific trainings with staff and collect feedback for improvement
Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and support across LAHE
