PUBLIC SERVICE LIBRARIAN
The Clark Memorial Library is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic librarian. Candidates should possess the following, the ability to work independently, exemplary customer service skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent computer skills.
Responsibilities include answering patron questions, providing reader’s advisory, developing programs for children and their families, providing digital literacy services to the public, and working at the circulation desk. Individuals with public library experience preferred; knowledge of Koha and Aspen a plus.
Applicant must be flexible and willing to work nights and Saturdays. They should be able to lift 30 pounds This is a 15 hours per week part time position with paid vacation after one year. Salary is $23.00/hr.
A Masters in Library Science is required.
