The director serves as administrative head of the Library. The incumbent reports directly to the Library Board of Trustees, serves as staff to the Board, and is responsible for implementing policy, developing goals and objectives, supervising staff, administering the Library budget and directing day to day operations.
Although reporting to the Library Board, the Director serves as an integral part of the City's management team.
