Job Description
This position operates in a diverse environment to help fulfill the library’s mission by providing reference service to the public using comprehensive knowledge of Library Science, PPLD collections, electronic databases, current technologies, and community resources. Approximately 70% of the position’s time is spent assisting PPLD’s Teen Services Coordinator in directing the Teen program and related activities, and by providing outreach to area middle and high school students and staff.
Additional Info & Requirements
Prefer experience working with teenagers; prefer an accurate, minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute; prefer proficiency using MS Office Suite; SIRSI experience is a plus!
