The Community
The Louisville Public Library was founded in 1924 and was started by the wives and daughters of miners, merchants, and farmers. These women understood the value this civic institution would bring to their community. That tradition contines to this day in a new, state-of-the-art, award winning 32,000 square foot facility that opened in August of 2006. The Library is located in Old Town Louisville, the city's historic and commercial center lined with old wooden buildings. The Library ciruclated over 500,000 items in 2010. You'll love working here!HR Info
