If you answered yes to any of these questions, a correctional library may be the place for you! The Colorado Department of Corrections has just announced multiple FTE Library Technician II positions. With guidance from a Regional Librarian, these positions serve adult male and/or female offenders in facilities across the state ranging from security levels I (minimum) through V (maximum). Library Technician IIs assist in the daily operations of correctional facility libraries by providing public/school-type (not law) library service. Minimum requirements: 2 years of general library experience including typing, ordering, preparing, shelving and maintaining library materials.
