Job DescriptionCreate, gather, compile, format, and interpret system-wide ILS statistics using independent judgment and advanced searching techniques. Conducts research for and distributes reports to various levels of staff, the County Librarian, various Jefferson County agencies and Library Board members. Consults with library and IT staff and solves ILS questions and problems. Contacts the ILS vendor regarding problem reports/open calls. Acts as backup to the System Administrator by attending meetings, prioritizing problem calls, consulting with IT staff on the impact of projects on the ILS. Primary IT contact for On-line Library database configurations. Coordinates delivery of Online-Database services with the Digital Resources Manager. Technical contact with database vendors. Researches and repairs ILS database records (broken holds). Provide help desk support to all staff.
