Job Description
- Oversees all aspects of circulation and course reserves - Manages the serials collection including subscription renewals, check-in, claims and bindery - Assists with tours, orientation programs, and tailored library instruction sessions -Provides reference assistance to patrons at the Information Desk - Supervises student employees - Assists with the maintenance of the Library’s LibGuides -Opens and closes the library on designated daysAdditional Info & Requirements
- Knowledge of circulation and course reserves management - Knowledge of serials management - Experience in providing reference and instruction services - At least one year supervisory experience - Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, faculty, staff and students - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and an aptitude for detailed work - Customer service experience preferably in a library setting - Exceptional reliability - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred: - Subject knowledge in business, culinary or hospitality - Familiarity with Innovative Interfaces Inc (III)HR Info
