We are looking for a Branch Manager at our Rifle Branch Library. The Branch Manager directs the day-to-day operation of the library and is responsible for public services, selection and circulation of materials, community outreach, facility operations and programming. The Branch Manager oversees 7.55 FTE staff, advises the Friends of the Library and serves on the District’s Management Team. This is an FLSA exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours work week, involving some weekends and evenings. This is professional library work of a specialized nature with administrative responsibility. An employee in this position is responsible for the operation and administration of a library branch including understanding and enforcing all Library District policies and procedures; understanding and directing all aspects of collection development for the Branch; and keeping current on all library technologies and processes. This position supervises various paraprofessional and clerical assistants and performs responsible administrative, professional and supervisory work without direct supervision.
